  1. Great poll. I’m probably a little unique… I’m a single father of two kids but I work outside the house. Luckily my kids are old enough that I don’t need to stay home. In earlier years, I would have loved to, though!!!

  2. Hey Doug – One of the great things about helping people with the work from home thing is the variety of types of families I get to meet. The main reason for the poll is I want to make sure I keep stuff relevant for the majority of my readers. I get a lot of email from folks who aren’t parents and want to or currently work from home. I’ve also found several readers who are empty nesters.

  4. Thanks, Drew. One of the most important things I’ve learned over the years is that the best way to know if you’re meeting your customers’ needs is to ask. My goal is to meet my readers’ needs and to inspire them. That, and to draw funny pictures for them 😉
